From Bob Dylan's Christmas in the Heart, Must Be Santa, because nothing says "Holiday Cheer" like an over-caffeinated accordian player.
In 1976, in the very last months of his life, Bing Crosby hosted a TV Christmas Special on which he sang this
duet with David Bowie. He looks gaunt, pale and ghostly — and Crosby doesn't look all that good, either. Bowie and Der Bingle's pairing is considered a "classic" by some and "creepy and disturbing" by others. Either way, it's rare to see to parallel universes collide like this outside of a
Star Trek episode.
You might want to watch this one with the sound off and your eyes closed; the inexplicable and inexcusable Dominic the Italian Christmas Donkey. It's demeaning to Italians, Christmas, donkeys and anyone named Dominic. Still, it's catchy, in a swine flu sort of way.
